Its a good article and people should not confuse alpha male traits with bad boy behaviour. An alpha male does not necessarily treat others badly (men and women alike).

haha.. good article, my homegirl sent me the link to this page so i decided to read it through and noticed something important was left out..
*A leader has to have a goal, otherwise he has nothing to lead others to and will be clueless himself. Afterall, many of the qualities the alpha possesses have do to the simple fact—> he’s willing to do what others aren’t.. an alpha is not necessarily good nor bad, just powerful.. and relaxed enough to not be bothered by the little things

I disagree about the possesivness of the alpha male. alpha males are extremely passionate yet somtimes withdrawn. Passion is mostly too much for a woman these days…

Jaquie, obviously you haven’t read the article and the fact that you describe yourself as a gorgeous Latin female makes me think you’re really not.

But just to clarify, the article begins with stating that these are just a few of the Alpha Male characteristics and traits.

Then, it goes on to describe the fact that an Alpha Male doesn’t need others approval and has confidence.

I also mentioned the sense of humor as an important trait, and the fact that time is important for an Alpha Male (reliability).

If your man doesn’t keep his word about the things he promises and doesn’t respect your time, wants and needs, he’s not an Alpha, he’s a douchebag.

The whole point of this article is to help readers who may have problems in the dating department (but not only) get a grip on their lives, by better understanding the behavior of a successful Alpha Male.

Say what you will, but all women find a good man, a confident leader attractive and want one by their side. We know this, although you might not be willing to admit it.

Poor delusional writer.

What you have described, is a narcissist, or someone with metal / emotional issues.

The fact that some men think they need to be “Alpha Males” denotes: 1). how very much they are far from it, and 2). how dependent and fixated they are on what others (women especially) think of them. An oxy-moron, emphasis on the moron is what you are if you take this article seriously.

As a gorgeous Latin female of dating age, I can tell you exactly what gets both men and women to like you. First of all, be someone that can be relied upon. Like the bible and mom used to say: let your yes’s be yes’s and your no’s, no’s. Secondly, have a sense of humor! Laugh at yourself. Third? You don’t have to be a male model, but take care of yourself and use what god gave you. Last but certainly not least, leave articles such as this one for losers.

You know you are a beta when you wonder how other men can get what you want and have never had.

Beta men have no idea why other Men so easily get what they have always wanted but have never had.

I am okay with that.

I like that there are so many beta men in the world. It makes it easier for the rest of us.

I have always loved that most married men don’t know what they have. It has made it easy for me to enjoy what they consider theirs, like their wives.

I don’t understand why most men choose to be betas, but I am glad there are a lot of them out there.
